Same Pro-Engine, less features, but works! It's quick and free! Btw: Intego is a longtime mac-only software producer!

When I woke up my iMac, VirusBarrier Scanner wasn't responding, so after about 10 minutes, I force-quit it. After 3 attempts to launch it, I trashed it and have just downloaded it again from the App Store, hoping that this time it will work.
But it won't download! I have clicked on the download "Cloud" 5 times. It goes around and then the cloud appears again and again. No sign of it in my Applications folder.
The previous version worked much better!

I really liked it for quite a bit of time. It caught some malware that MalwareBytes and Norton didn't. But recently it won't download the virus definition updates and stalls out when scanning.
