KnockKnock overview
KnockKnock shows you what's persistently installed on your Mac.
Malware installs itself persistently, to ensure it is automatically executed each time a computer is restarted. KnockKnock (UI) uncovers persistently installed software in order to generically reveal such malware. If the item is an executable binary, KnockKnock automatically queries VirusTotal with a hash of the binary in order to retrieve any information.

Won't run on Mac OS 10.13.6 even though it says it'll run on Mac OS 10.11 and higher. Launches and crashed immediately.

Actually this is a note to the developer, Patrick Wardel, since I did not find a way to contact you thru your app. After opening the zip file, I went to slide KnockKnock into my Applications folder in the HD. I got the OS notice that moving it there required an admin PW. However, I accidentally clicked "Cancel" instead. So I slid the program back to Applications and was ready with my PW... BUT I didn't need it this time. KnockKnock nestled itself among my other Apps without the Admin PW.
I seriously believe you should look into why this happened.
BTW, the scan found no problems. Thank you for your program.

Not working. When launched, I click the scan button and instead of running it opens to the developer's web page: objective-see.com so does not run at all. Tested on an OSX 10.8.5 mac as indicated it runs on
