Doesn't support old formats such as RW2 (Panasonic Lumix), so what's the point?

If you have MAC O.S. 12.10.1 it doesn't work. So I am guessing Adobe doesn't care and is more interested in shoving their subscription scheme down your throat.
Adobe is not forthcoming with any solution. I like P.S. CS 6 and will continue to look for a workaround. I don't expect any help from Adobe.

Convenient way to get my pics converted without any troubles.
The only thing I didn't like was that the program ran a bit slower when importing the raw files.
